Volunteers Needed for MS150
Posted by w0kf on: Wednesday 26 May @ 09:26:08

Bike Marathon Radio communications volunteers are
requested to assist with the 2010 BikeMS
bicycle ride. The MS150 is on Saturday
June 12 and Sunday June13. The route is
from Duluth to the Twin Cities with an
overnight in Hinckley.

3 weeks until the big tour! We currently have open:

· 3 Support And Gear Assistant / Communicator positions

· 3 Rest Stop Radio Communications Assistant positions

· 2 Equipment manager positions – one to help set up & one to help tear down radio equipment at rest stops.

· Other volunteer positions

Volunteering is an easy 2 step process:

1. Please call Will Ziegenhagen at the MS Society 612-335-7992 to volunteer.

2. Register on the radio communications team website at http://www.ms-scram.org by clicking on the “2010 Registered Volunteers, Log in”

Registration on the http://www.ms-scram.org site is important because:

· It gets you on our radio communication team e-mail distribution list. We use e-mail as a primary means of communication with radio communications team members prior to the tour.

· It contains your emergency contact information

· It helps the team leaders with tour assignments

· It provides our “embroideress” with your volunteer T-shirt size

· It gives you access to tour documents under the tour forum section

Thanks!
