Can I be notified when the Skywarn net is brought up?

YES!! When the 147.21 repeater is placed in net mode, several things happen. (1)An announcement is placed on the tcrc.org home page announcing that the weather net is up and that you should refrain from using the repeater for normal amateur purposes until the net is taken down. (2)The TCRC logo announcement on the Skywarn Home Page is changed to reflect the weather net status. (3)An email is sent to the members of swnews. If you have any device, pager, telephone, PDA, whatever, that can be notified via email, if you subscribe to swnews you will be notified when the 147.21 weather net is activated.
